This comprehensive program will guide you step-by-step through the creative process of creating a speech to best practices of speaking to adult learners, as well as how to be confident virtually and live! 

By the end of the program, you will have a complete script ready for speaking that not only highlights your expertise but also drives customers to your purpose-driven business. 

You will have everything you need to help you get started, as well as access to a performance coach who can help you through the process.

About the Facilitator:

Shannon Ivey MFA, AEA, PCC (she/they) is the founder and CEO of Gather SC, LLC, an expressive arts based coaching and consulting agency, and the award winning #whatshesaidproject. Ms. Ivey is a professional actor, director, Tedx speaker, ICF certified professional coach, podcast host, producer, Mothers Comedy Troupe Member, and Theatre of the Oppressed facilitator. Her creative work blurs the line between art, activism, and advocacy.  Shannon has extensive training in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University and is an Expressive Arts PhD student at the European Graduate School. Shannon has a medical memoir coming out in Fall of 2025 published by the University of South Carolina Press.  Through her work and collaborations, she has made a commitment to integrity, curiosity, and bravery.

Shannon has helped creatives, writers, thought leaders, change makers and others with the speaking process for over a decade. Her specialties include crafting personal stories for advocacy and impact, and embodied confidence. Shannon taught acting for over 20 years as well as coaching.
